Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an Interventional Radiology Nurse Navigator to join our breast care team on a PRN basis. The role blends patient navigation with imaging coordination, guiding patients through screening, biopsies, and follow-ups while maintaining high quality care.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, educating patients, serving as a liaison among patients, physicians, and radiologists, and documenting care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license in NH or a valid compact state.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 3-7 years related experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care across diagnostic and treatment processes and serve as central point of communication among staff, physicians, and patients.
• Schedule diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, and follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients about procedures and breast health.
• Act as liaison among patient, primary care physician, radiologist, and other specialists.
• Provide biopsy support and post-procedure care instructions.
• Document all patient interactions and imaging results in the EMR.
• Support multidisciplinary breast care team and ensure efficient operations.
