Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associates Degree in nursing is required.
• NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient navigator for breast imaging patients to coordinate imaging and follow-up care.
• Provide guidance to patients in coordination with the breast care center.
• Be the main contact for referring providers or patients with scheduling questions.
• Assist with scheduling biopsies and obtain consent prior to procedures.
• Communicate post-procedure imaging needs and follow-up plans to patients.
• Maintain documentation in EPIC, navigator dashboard, and daily logs.
