Responsibilities

• Perform clerical functions for office operations and patient flow.
• Schedule and pre-register for upcoming services.
• Obtain orders from electronic faxes or physician offices and ensure tests are scheduled.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding upcoming procedures.
• Verify demographics and insurance information and obtain authorizations if required.
• Enter complete and accurate data in computer systems; interview patients and offices as needed.
• Explain financial responsibility and assist with payment arrangements for patients/guarantors.
• Cover registration duties when needed and rotate shifts as required.
• Check in patients for exams and room them as needed.
