Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; check-in and registration; schedule updates for radiology appointments.
• Interview patients and collect required information from doctors, insurers, and government agencies.
• Explain financial responsibilities; obtain signatures and collect payments.
• Enter complete and accurate data into hospital systems; may be cross-trained as charge person or financial counselor.
