Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a short order or breakfast cook.
• Knowledge of breakfast items and cooking techniques.
• Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and multitasking.
• Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team attitude.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED; culinary training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items to order, eggs, pancakes, waffles, meats.
• Operate griddles, fryers, toasters and kitchen equipment safely.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep stations clean.
• Prep ingredients and restock the cook line during shifts.
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff for timely orders.
• Monitor portions and waste to help control costs.
• Accommodate dietary needs and custom orders accurately.
• Maintain a sense of urgency during peak hours.
• Assist opening/closing duties and equipment shutdown/prep.
• Alert kitchen manager to equipment issues or low stock.
