Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a breakfast cook to safely prepare and cook breakfast items, following recipes and health standards. You will work with the culinary team to maintain quality and introduce menu improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a breakfast cooking role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts preferred.
• Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.
• Experience with receiving orders and inventory control helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu items per established recipes and quality standards.
• Follow techniques including grilling, frying, roasting, baking, and sautéing.
• Monitor temperatures, times, and quantities to prevent waste and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with culinary team to develop and refine menu items and specials.
• Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to showcase culinary creativity.
• Stay informed about culinary trends and seasonal ingredients for planning.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen and proper storage of equipment and ingredients.
• Assist with inventory management and stock checks to ensure production needs.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize contamination risk.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
