Job summary

Highgate is seeking a Hotel Breakfast Attendant for Residence Inn West Springfield. The role provides friendly, efficient breakfast service in a busy hotel, maintaining the breakfast area, assisting guests, and supporting beverage and food service as needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, ensuring cleanliness, handling basic cashiering, and answering questions about local attractions. A high school diploma and flexible schedule are preferred, with opportunities for growth within the

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass responsible serving training such as TIPs as required by property.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to guests in the complimentary breakfast area.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance and uniform.
• Greet guests, seat where applicable, and assist with inquiries.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of breakfast areas and menus.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables and stations per shift.
• Support beverage and food service tasks including washing dishes and restocking.
• Provide accurate cashiering and closing paperwork as required.
• Respond to guest questions about hotel facilities and local attractions.
