Job summary

Residence Inn West Springfield in Massachusetts is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service in the complimentary breakfast area. You will greet guests, maintain cleanliness, assist with setup, and support food and beverage service.

A high school diploma is preferred; flexibility to work varied shifts, legal serving age for alcohol, and a friendly, patient demeanor are required. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits offered by Highgate Hotels.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be willing/able to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving course (TIPs) if required by property.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate at a basic level.
• Demonstrates positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of breakfast area and service spaces.
• Support beverage and food service, including dishwashing and restocking.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and perform side work as assigned.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Handle cashiering tasks and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Respond to guest requests and VIP communications across departments.
• Prepare high-quality drinks and basic beverage service as required.
