Job summary

North Point Hospitality Group is seeking team members for the AC Hotel Savannah Historic District in Savannah, GA, to provide outstanding guest service and hospitality. The role centers on breakfast service, buffet setup, greeting guests, and assisting with clean and efficient dining operations each morning starting at 5:30am.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, being 18+, and a friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Set up the buffet daily and restock items, then break down after service.
• Greet guests politely and explain specials and promotions.
• Serve water or coffee at greeting.
• Take and deliver food and drink orders, and clear tables during breakfast.
• Monitor tables for additional requests and determine when meals are complete.
• Ensure quality and consistency of all food served.
• Check station setup and cleanliness before/during/after shift.
• Process total checks and handle payments or direct to cashier.

What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that all items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service
• Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
• Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessaryClear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
• Observes guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
• Control quality and consistency of all food served
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Total checks and accepts payment or refer guests to cashier

Please note that the working hours for this position start at 5:30am.

The pay range for this role is: $12.00 per hour
