Job summary

North Point Hospitality in Savannah is seeking friendly team members for a part-time role focused on delivering outstanding guest service. Bring your positive attitude and professionalism, and we’ll help you build a rewarding career in hospitality.

You will greet guests, relay orders to the kitchen or bar, serve courses, garnish dishes, and assist with duties as assigned. Minimum age 18 and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professionalism and a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ability to delight guests by anticipating needs and responding accordingly.
• Gracious host to guests, vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide beverages upon arrival.
• Relay orders to kitchen or bar and serve courses.
• Garnish and decorate dishes before serving.
• Take payments or refer to cashier.
• Restock supplies and prepare for next service.
• Observe guests to fulfill requests and ensure satisfaction.

What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Serves ice water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
• Accurately relays order to kitchen or bar and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
• Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving
• Serves patrons from dish at table on occasion
• Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
• Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier, using arithmetic, including making change
• Replenishes supplies and prepares for the next mealTakes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned

What you should bring to the table:
