Job summary

North Point Hospitality in Savannah, GA is seeking a Lead Line Cook who can lead daily kitchen production, train staff, and ensure timely service with high culinary standards.

Qualifications

What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Lead and coordinate daily kitchen production activities to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Assist in assigning and directing line cook, prep cook, and stewarding duties during each shift.
• Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and consistency to ensure adherence to company and brand standards.
• Train, coach, and support kitchen team members on proper food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.

What we're looking for:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary certification or formal food service training preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible commercial kitchen experience required.
• Previous experience as a Line Cook in a full-service restaurant, hotel, or resort environment preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
