Job summary

Sheraton Augusta Hotel is seeking AM SERVERs for immediate openings. Applications accepted in person and interviews will be conducted after submission. Join our dining team to deliver friendly service and ensure a pleasant guest experience.

As a server, you will take orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, suggest menu items, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. Must be able to stand all day and excel in customer service. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Legible handwriting is required.
• Experience with restaurant POS software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take customers' food and drink orders.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Work closely with restaurant management to address customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders when clarification is requested.
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties.
