Job summary

DOUBLETREE BY HILTON NASHUA is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will take orders, serve courses, and ensure guest satisfaction according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean stations, upselling menu items, processing guest payments, and collaborating with team members to provide smooth service during shift hours. Previous hospitality experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
• Math skills for handling cash and payments.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening/closing side work to prep dining rooms and stations.
• Cleans and maintains assigned stations before, during, and after rushes.
• Familiar with full menu, hours, table numbers and payment options.
• Uses suggestive selling to promote specials and desserts.
• Provides professional wait service and observes guest needs.
• Maintains clean service areas throughout shift.
• Cross-serves and assists teammates as needed.
• Carries trays in/out of kitchen, bar and dining room.
• Accepts payments and completes guest checks with proper change.
• Totals bills and handles cash according to procedures.
• Communicates concerns to management about health, sanitation, staff or guests.
• Re-stocks and alerts staff of stock shortages.
