Responsibilities include menu knowledge, upselling, and accurate payment handling, while ensuring food safety and guest satisfaction. This on-site role supports busy hotel dining operations with potential for events and catering assistance.

Qualifications

• High school education or related experience.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
• Ability to provide friendly guest service.
• Understanding proper ordering and food handling techniques and local serving guidelines.
• Cash handling and processing credit card transactions per policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, and provide menus.
• Take and input orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages with correct presentation.
• Know menu ingredients and offer recommendations.
• Upsell appetizers, desserts, and drinks to enhance dining experience.
• Maintain clean, well-set tables and reset for new guests.
