Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a Line Cook - Breakfast for a remote accommodations facility. You will lead breakfast production for large guest volumes, ensure strict food safety, quality control, and adherence to recipes while preventing waste.

The role supports rapid scaling from 1,000 to 4,000+ guests daily in a remote setting. You will set up breakfast stations, inventory rotation, and coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
• Valid Food Handler Card through an ASNI-accredited Provider
• Minimum 4 years of professional line cook experience in high-volume environments
• Experience preparing for guest volumes of 1500 to 4000

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items, including eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches
• Maintain recipe adherence to ensure consistent taste, appearance and quality
• Set up and maintain breakfast stations and buffet lines
• Ensure food quality meets client requirements and accommodates dietary needs
• Minimize waste through portion control and production planning
• Maintain equipment safety and sanitation; uphold HACCP and PCHF principles
• Monitor presentation and freshness during breakfast service
• Assist with inventory rotation and stock usage
• Keep workstation clean and organized before, during, and after service
• Perform other duties as assigned
