Job summary

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is seeking a Cook 3 (intermediate) for the breakfast line. The role requires at least two years of line and fine dining experience; a culinary degree or related hotel background is preferred.

This full-time position starts at 5am and requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. You will perform basic and intermediate cooking skills, may direct others in the supervisor’s absence, and contribute to a high-service breakfast operation with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills.
• 3 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
• Moderate supervision and training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soups, sauces, stocks, frying, and broiling to standard recipes.
• Work across multiple stations in the kitchen to support breakfast service.
• May provide direction in the supervisor’s absence.
• Contribute to a high-quality breakfast operation and teamwork.
