Job summary

The Pier 5 in Baltimore is seeking a Breakfast Cook/Evening Reception Cook to run breakfast and evening reception kitchen areas with a guest‑first attitude. You will prepare breakfast items, assist on the floor when needed, and maintain smooth operation across dining areas.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, keeping the buffet areas clean, managing inventories, and collaborating with the hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage prep.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow directions.
• Schedule flexibility including early mornings (5am–1pm) and (2pm–7pm) on weekends/holidays.
• ServSafe and Tips certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple breakfast dishes, dressings and snacks according to standards.
• Be creative in preparing food items for hotel guests.
• Greet and engage with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain breakfast buffet, evening reception and kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Conduct regular inventory and order items to maintain stock levels.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly to exceed expectations.
