Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Chef Demi for our Breakfast team to deliver visually appealing and flavorful dishes. You will own your workstation, manage supplies and waste, and uphold high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

The role requires early AM hours (5am-12pm) with weekend and holiday availability, strong communication, and fluency in the local language. Training and room discounts are among benefits offered by the hotel group.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic maths.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Must be fluent in the local language and comply with local food-handling laws.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and bending/kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Make every meal a feast for the eyes and taste buds.
• Own your workstation by managing supplies, equipment and waste.
• Maintain cleanliness to meet local hygiene laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Be a true team player and take on ad-hoc duties as required.
