Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a cook to safely prepare and cook menu items, following recipes and portion sizes. You will work with the culinary team to maintain high quality, food safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a kitchen or culinary environment.
• Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.
• Culinary Arts education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portions, and standards.
• Use grilling, frying, roasting, baking, and sauteing techniques to achieve desired results.
• Monitor temperatures and quantities to minimize waste and ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with team to develop menus, specials and promotions.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory and stock checks to ensure adequate ingredients.
