Job Summary

The Breakfast Cook/Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast items for hotel guests, assisting with setup and breakdown of the breakfast service area, and supporting the Chef with additional food preparation as needed. This role involves both back-of-house and front-of-house duties, requiring excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in guest interactions.

Responsibilities
Breakfast Cook
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes to ensure consistency.
  • Perform prep work for banquet use.
  • Manage storage, cutting, portioning, and quality control of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area.
  • Clean work area at the end of each shift.
  • Prepare items for the next day.
  • Serve guests from a limited buffet and set up grab-and-go items.
  • Follow security, safety, emergency, and energy procedures.
  • Manage morning food deliveries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Breakfast Attendant
  • Set up, restock, and clean the breakfast area.
  • Serve breakfast to guests.
  • Break down and clean the breakfast area.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
  • Follow departmental policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools.
  • Interact professionally with guests and staff.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
