Role Overview:

Breakfast Attendants are responsible for assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets and ensuring that the buffet always remains well-stocked for a great breakfast. In full-service establishments, they receive requests from customers, communicate them to the kitchen staff, and clear tables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly.
• Maintain regular attendance as per the schedule, which varies by property needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Greet guests upon arrival and make them feel welcomed, following the 5/10 rule.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, providing quality service.
• Prepare, set up, stock, clean, and present breakfast products according to standards.
• Create an impressive breakfast experience for guests.
• Clear and clean tables, replenish condiments, and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Assist guests with information about local and property amenities.
• Ensure breakfast service meets brand standards and assist in maintaining overall hospitality functions.
• Inventory breakfast items regularly and manage ordering as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas.
• Anticipate guest and team needs, showing initiative.
• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
