We are seeking a motivated and skilled Breakfast Cook/Breakfast Attendant to prepare and serve breakfast for hotel guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Job Summary

The Breakfast Cook/Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast for hotel guests, assisting with setup and breakdown of the breakfast service area, and supporting the Chef with food prep as needed. This role involves both back-of-house and front-of-house interactions, requiring good communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Breakfast Cook
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes to ensure consistency.
  • Perform prep work for banquet use.
  • Manage storage, cutting, portioning, and quality control of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Clean work areas after shifts.
  • Prepare items for the next day.
  • Serve guests from a buffet and set up grab-and-go items.
  • Follow security, safety, and energy procedures.
  • Manage morning food deliveries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Breakfast Attendant
  • Set up, restock, and clean the breakfast area.
  • Serve breakfast to guests.
  • Assist with cleanup and dishwashing.
  • Follow departmental policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism and friendliness with guests and staff.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of cooking fundamentals and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education & Experience

Physical Requirements
  • Stand for long periods, climb ladders and stairs, walk, twist, bend, reach, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
