Position Overview

Element Westin is coming to San Antonio Riverwalk. Our dual-flag venue will feature over 300 rooms, three distinct outlets, and a banquet department. We are looking to add new team members who embody the essential qualities of attitude, aptitude, willingness, and charm. We are hiring cooks for both AM and PM shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Provide hospitable service at all times, including greeting guests, cleaning tables, and restocking inventory.
2. Learn and adhere to brand standards and menu items across multiple food outlets.
3. Work in various outlets, including the banquet, rooftop bar, breakfast buffet, and bar lounge.
4. Support team members and collaborate effectively.
5. Ensure quality and quantity of food and supplies meet standards through proper receiving, dating, and examination.
6. Work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment and assist other departments as needed.
7. Follow training programs and contribute to the development of colleagues.
8. Minimize waste and coordinate with chefs on produce and daily station needs.
9. Maintain overall food quality and respond quickly to changes.
10. Lead by example to enhance productivity and represent the company professionally both inside and outside of work.
