Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Normal is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to ensure a welcoming, well-stocked breakfast experience for guests. You will be the morning face of the operation, helping guests start their day right.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 12:00pm. Join a team that values reliability, teamwork, and guest satisfaction in a bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet during morning hours.
• Greet and assist guests in a warm, hospitable manner during breakfast service.
• Monitor food levels and keep hot and cold items fresh and stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, tables, counters and stations.
• Follow health department food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clear and clean dishes, trays, and utensils throughout and after service.
• Break down and store breakfast items and equipment at close.

About the Role:

Hampton Inn & Suites Normal is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to help guests start their day off right! In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our morning operation, ensuring a fresh, well-stocked, and inviting breakfast experience for every guest.

Hours for this position are: Monday through Friday from 500am-12:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and replenish the complimentary breakfast buffet throughout morning service hours
• Greet and assist hotel guests in a warm, hospitable manner during breakfast service
• Monitor food levels and ensure hot and cold items are consistently fresh and fully stocked
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining stations
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health department standards
• Clear and clean dishes, trays, and utensils throughout and after service
• Break down and properly store all breakfast items and equipment at the close of service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
