GTR Link in Mississippi is seeking a Machine Operator I to run the breading line, operate breader machines, and ensure products receive proper coating. The role requires standing throughout the shift and handling bags up to 50 pounds.

You will maintain strict hygiene per GMP, inspect for product defects, and promptly report any abnormal situations to supervision. The work environment includes a 38°F setting and dusty conditions.

Formación

• Experience operating breader/breading machinery and related equipment.

• Monitor coating process to ensure proper product coverage.
• Identify and report abnormal situations to supervisor or plant management.

Description

Machine Operator I Description:

• Know and understand the breader/breading machines operation.
• Know and understand the proper procedure for dumping bags of flour / breading.
• Be able to lift and dump bags of flour / breading (up to 50 pounds each).
• Monitor the breading process to ensure product is properly coated.

• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.

• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.

o Natural occurring defect i.e. bruises and blood spots.

o Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out of spec product.

Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Abnormal situation would be:

Product tampering

Willful product adulteration

Unauthorized employees in restricted areas

Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring

Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake

Physical Demands:

• Working at temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit
• Standing / walking 100% of the workday
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
• Working in dusty environment.
