Job summary

Ultipro in West Point, MS is seeking a production line worker responsible for understanding the line process, operating and filling in for positions as needed. The role requires keeping the line clean and running, inspecting products for defects, and maintaining GMP hygiene standards.

Additionally, you will identify and report any abnormal situations to supervision, including unauthorized access or equipment malfunctions, while meeting the physical demands of standing most of the day and lifting

Qualifications

• Must know the process, equipment, and all line positions and be able to fill in as needed.
• Maintain high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness per GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for natural and processing defects.
• Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor.

Job description

• Must know and understand the process, equipment and all positions on the line and be able to fill in as needed.


• Must make sure the line is clean and running properly at all times


• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.


• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.


• o Natural occurring defects i.e. bruises and blood spots.


• o Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out of spec product.


• Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Abnormal situation would be:

• Unauthorized employees in restricted areas


• Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring


• Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake

Physical Demands:

• Working at temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit


• Standing / walking 100% of the workday


• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.


• Working in dusty environment.
