Job summary

Ultipro in West Point, MS is seeking a production associate to operate breader and breading equipment and ensure proper coating of products. The role requires lifting bags of flour/breading up to 50 pounds and maintaining strict hygiene per GMP policies.

The position involves standing for long periods in a cool environment and inspecting products for defects, reporting any abnormal situations to supervision. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating breader/breading machines.
• Ability to lift and dump bags up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to monitor coating process for proper application.
• Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Know and understand the breader/breading machines operation.
• Know and understand the proper procedure for dumping bags of flour / breading.
• Be able to lift and dump bags of flour / breading (up to 50 pounds each).
• Monitor the breading process to ensure product is properly coated.
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for natural occurring and processing defects.
• Identify and report abnormal situations to supervisor or plant management.
• Comply with safety and sanitation policies; work in 38°F environment; stand/walk throughout shift.

Job description

• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.

o Natural occurring defect i.e. bruises and blood spots.

o Processing defects would be but not limited to foreign material and out of spec product.

Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Abnormal situation would be:

Unauthorized employees in restricted areas

Situation where a belief that product adulteration may be occurring

Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake

Physical Demands:

• Working at temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit
• Standing / walking 100% of the workday
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
• Working in dusty environment.
