Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Deerfield Beach, FL is hiring for a Manufacturing associate in our production department. You will help set up the production line, move ingredients and assemble sandwiches, platters and meals, and assist with baked goods and equipment handling.

We value reliability, teamwork, and safety. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 35 pounds, and work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 35 pounds frequently.
• Must demonstrate GMPs and safe working habits.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Moving ingredients and assembling sandwiches, platters and meal.
• Loading and unloading racks, ovens and other equipment
• Placing containers on conveyor belt at line speed
• Rotating in all positions and assisting with other duties as assigned.
• Preparing baked goods and assisting with production line setup.
