Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Atlanta, GA is hiring pie line workers in the Manufacturing department. You will feed dough, pans or flour, inspect and rework pies to meet quality standards, stock supplies, and pack and rack pies while assisting with other duties as needed.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Candidates must follow detailed instructions and maintain a clean, safe workstation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work with machinery.
• Must have excellent safety work habits.
• Ability to maintain a clean work station.
• Must be able to work at a steady and productive pace for extended periods of time.
• Work involves bending, lifting and stooping.
• Ability to learn and perform all positions.
• Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member.

Responsibilities

• Pie line workers performing various line positions.
• Feeding dough, pans or flour.
• Inspecting and reworking pies to meet quality standards produced by the line.
• Stocking supplies to the line.
• Packing and racking pies, and
• Assisting with other duties as assigned
