Job summary

Dutch Valley Restaurant in Sugar Creek, OH is hiring a bakery/kitchen team member for morning shifts. This role focuses on bread, rolls, and buns, with on-the-job training and flexible schedules.

You’ll follow established recipes, use mixers, and maintain quality while working on-site. No Sundays required; SafeServ certification is welcome or training provided. Pay is based on experience, with part-time hours and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend instructions.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift and/or move 15 to 30 pounds.
• SafeServ certification – can provide training if you don’t have it.

Responsibilities

• Mix, bake bread, dinner rolls, and sandwich buns.
• Use electric mixers and other equipment.
• Follow established recipes and maintain quality.
• Mix ingredients consistently and adjust oven temperatures as needed.
• Check baked goods for quality and production schedule.
• Restock ingredients and prep for service.
• Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers.
• Assist with opening/closing as needed.
• Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
