Job summary

J.Crew is seeking a Stylist to act as the store’s brand ambassador and product expert, delivering outstanding customer service and driving revenue through wardrobe styling and clienteling. You will connect with customers, understand their needs, and translate trends into tailored looks that reinforce loyalty and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in one-to-one clienteling.
• Thrive in a results-driven environment.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends.
• Exhibit teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Excel in the incentive-based styling program by meeting sales per hour (SPH) and KPI goals.
• Be the brand ambassador & product expert, building incremental sales through wardrobing.
• Utilize in-store relationships and loyalty programs to attract and retain clients.
• Build meaningful, lasting relationships through authentic, personalized interactions and clienteling.
• Deliver a best-in-class styling experience while embodying service expectations.
• Know your store’s neighborhood, events, local influencers and style-makers.
• Identify and host appointments and in-store events through community networking and marketing.
• Stay informed about competitors and local community interests.
• Share product feedback and ideas with management.
