Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador to engage customers, upsell products, and share vendor knowledge across the sales floor. You will build lasting client ties, collaborate with stylists and leadership, and execute events to boost sales and brand presence.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a tidy sales floor, using POS systems, and driving profitable outcomes while promoting inclusive, respectful interactions across teams and communities.

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Minimum one year of selling or retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with the customer as the priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, personal stylists and store leadership.
• Keep the sales floor neat, signed, and ready for sales and markdowns.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales, turnover and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clientele to support local marketing.
• Execute vendor and non-vendor events to increase sales.
• Plan and lead customer-facing vendor-sponsored events with vendor partners; meet goals.
• Use Macy’s POS systems and devices to complete transactions.
• Foster an inclusive environment strengthening relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
