Job summary

Family Dollar, part of Dollar Tree, is seeking a Category Business Manager at our Chesapeake, VA site. This full-time, onsite role leads cross-category strategies to grow Our Brand sales and execute brand plans with Merchandising, Marketing, and Global Sourcing.

You will collaborate with Buyers, Analytics, and Vendors to set objectives, manage launches, track results, and optimize distribution. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent experience, Business or Marketing Preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods/Grocery/Food industry, sales or merchandising preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills; MRMS, MicroStrategy and Retek knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual penetration targets and financial goals for Our brands and ensure objectives are met.
• Develop category business plans with buyers, analyzing share, mix, shelf placement and promotions.
• Collaborate with analytics to set objectives and execute plans aligned with corporate vision.
• Create cross-category brand launch plans and annual marketing plans including ads and PR.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Vendors to optimize assortment and distribution.
