Job summary

Bath & Body Works in the United States is seeking an Assistant Brand Experience Leader to work alongside the Brand Experience Leader to develop outstanding associates, deliver consistent consumer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works stores. Our store leaders are retail and consumer-savvy ambassadors who thrive on connections with customers.

You’ll lead a team, set clear performance expectations, manage openings and closings, train and coach staff, and ensure payroll

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, consumer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a consumer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a consumer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as leader on duty to address consumer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with brand experience leadership to support action plans that improve results and ensure execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, shipment receipt, and disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to leaders.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store consumer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with consumers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demos, and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the consumer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• All store positions require physical activity including standing, walking, reaching, lifting; lift up to 50 pounds.
