Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of selling or retail experience.
• Ability to build relationships and convert customers into clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Provide exceptional customer experience with customer as priority.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, signed for sales and markdowns.
• Develop best practices to drive sales, turnover, and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clientele for local marketing.
• Plan and lead vendor-sponsored events with vendors; meet sales goals.
• Process transactions using Macy’s POS systems.
• Foster an inclusive environment with colleagues, customers, and communities.
