Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year selling or retail experience.
• Ability to build relationships and convert customers into clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with computers and mobile devices; proficient with POS systems.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with the customer as priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Liaise between vendors, personal stylists and store leadership.
• Keep sales floor neat, properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Create and implement practices to drive sales, turn, and gross margin.
• Build brand-specific clientele to support local marketing.
• Execute vendor events to increase sales and participation goals.
• Lead customer-facing vendor sponsored events with vendor partnerships.
• Use Macy's POS systems to wrap up sales in a warm, celebratory fashion.
