Job summary

Bath & Body Works in the United States seeks a Brand Experience Leader to coach a high-performing store team and deliver outstanding consumer experiences. You’ll drive talent development, set clear performance targets, and lead operations to execute company directives and floorset plans.

You will lead with our values, coach associates, manage payroll coverage, and ensure a selling-focused culture that elevates product storytelling and customer connections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, exceptional consumer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a consumer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a consumer-focused selling culture.
• Passion for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and consumer situations effectively.
• Ability to meet physical demands as described above.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent including the brand experience leadership team.
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates through effective and fair leadership.
• Responsible for owning and delegating leadership tasks to address consumer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the brand experience leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store consumer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with consumers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the consumer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
