Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking full-time Brand Ambassadors to represent a premium tobacco brand at retail locations across the Lawrence, KS area. You will engage adults in one-on-one conversations, share brand offerings, collect feedback, and distribute promotions.

No tobacco industry experience is required; a great personality and confidence engaging with people are essential. Must be 21+, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel within the territory. Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, event marketing, or promotional marketing roles preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory.
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in meaningful, compliant conversations about tobacco products.
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with company policies, local regulations, and program guidelines.
• Administer consumer surveys and accurately collect market feedback and insights.
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives.
• Educate consumers on available promotions.
• Encourage purchase consideration through consultative consumer engagement.
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management.
• Accurately document activity results, consumer interactions, and survey completion through designated reporting systems.
• Maintain all program materials, displays, and activation assets in a professional manner.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support scheduled retail visits and events.
