American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a Brand Ambassador in Atlanta to provide an exceptional shopping experience and drive sales.

You will act as the face of the brand, showcasing current trends and guiding customers to the right products while upholding customer-first values. The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership team and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
• Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only short rest breaks.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate the Unsubscribed Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals.
• Leverage company tools and technology to confidently provide product knowledge to enhance engagement and maximize sales.
• Provide support to fellow employees through sharing knowledge and assisting in customer interactions.
• Outfit the customer by suggesting key looks and incorporating latest trends based on the customer’s style.
• Promote awareness and growth of the unsubscribed brand by introducing customers to additional brand channels.
• Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately per cash control procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure returns are restocked to correct product location on the sales floor; label and place damaged merchandise appropriately.
• Maintain brand standards of neat, clean sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room and stockroom.
• Handle merchandise from shipment processing, floorsets, markdowns, and replenishment while maintaining SOPs.
• Proactively resolve customer concerns in line with policy and with customer satisfaction in mind.
