Job summary

Somerset Trust Company is seeking a Branch Training Specialist to develop and deliver training to new and existing branch staff, ensuring knowledge and confidence in teller functions and exceptional customer service.

You will coordinate teller training, support onboarding, and collaborate with Branch Leadership, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Deposit Operations to address training needs. Strong knowledge of core banking systems is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3–5 years teller/branch experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for tellers, including classroom and virtual training.
• Conduct onboarding and structured training on teller procedures, systems, and customer service expectations.
• Train employees on cash handling, balancing, transactions, check processing, and account procedures.
• Ensure training materials align with bank policies, regulations, and operations.
