Somerset Trust Company is seeking a friendly and reliable teller to provide excellent customer service. You will handle deposits, loan payments, and explain products while identifying opportunities to refer customers as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and interpret procedures, and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience considered.
• Must be willing to learn new systems and adapt to emerging technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and communicate clearly with customers.
• Handle cash and banking transactions with accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with branch operations.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and balances.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions; record in computer
• Promote bank products or services when appropriate
• Follow BSA/AML responsibilities and internal policies
• Assist with opening and closing the branch
