Job summary

VACU seeks a Universal Branch Representative in Farmville, VA, performing Teller and Member Service Representative duties. You will deliver exceptional member experiences, process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cross-sell VACU products while maintaining accurate cash handling and account maintenance.

Responsibilities include opening memberships and deposit accounts, handling inquiries, and assisting callers with service and sales in a professional, courteous manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer/member service experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• Cash handling experience and ability to cross-sell products.
• Knowledge of basic banking operations and teller policies.

Responsibilities

• Establishes member relationships through quality service and cross selling VACU products/services to meet member needs.
• Handles transactions accurately and seeks approval for escalated actions.
• Balances cash drawer daily and maintains accurate reporting.
• Open memberships and deposit/loan accounts, providing maintenance as needed.
• Refer loans and deepen member relationships through needs-based sales.
