Job summary

Capital Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Teller to assist members in person, via drive-ups, or by telephone, handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and inquiries with accuracy and a sales-oriented approach.

You will balance cash daily, open/close the branch, and support other departments as needed while building relationships through consultative service and cross-selling suitable products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong cash handling accuracy and arithmetic skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to cross-sell Credit Union services.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, through drive-ups, and by telephone using an on-line teller terminal.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, and account inquiries.
• Handle special member requests including research, stop payments, ACH, wire transfers, and direct deposits.
• Promote Credit Union products and services suited to members’ needs.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve errors; follow balancing procedures.
