Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Experience operating an online teller terminal and basic office devices including coin processing and adding machines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and procedures to process transactions.
• Ability to concentrate with high accuracy and identify posting errors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cross-sell services in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, drive-ups, and by telephone using the online teller to process transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing).
• Process special requests (stop payments, ACH, payroll deduction, wire transfers, etc.).
• Build financial relationships and refer members to specialists, including scheduling appointments.
• Educate members about Home Banking, E‑Services and other products; promote Credit Union services.
• Balance cash drawer and follow balancing policy; open/close branch per procedures; complete miscellaneous branch duties.
