Job summary

Industrial Supply is looking for a hands‑on Branch Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Gillette branch. You'll oversee warehouse operations, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, customer service, and employee performance while working closely with our sales team to take care of customers.

This is a working supervisor role. We're looking for someone who can lead the team while also jumping in and helping with daily branch operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, branch operations.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Willingness to be a hands-on leader.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations including warehouse, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, and customer service.
• Supervise, coach, and support branch employees.
• Set clear expectations for safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with inside and outside sales teams to meet customer needs.
• Assist customers and help resolve service or order issues.
• Manage employee schedules, time records, performance reviews, and staffing needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe branch, warehouse, equipment, and vehicles.
• Ensure company procedures and safety expectations are followed.
• Step into warehouse, delivery, customer service, or VMI responsibilities when needed.
• Look for ways to improve branch efficiency, organization, and service.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, branch, store, or similar operations.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory or order‑management systems.
• Willingness to be a hands‑on leader and help wherever needed.
• Ability to safely operate a company delivery vehicle when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with inventory and order‑processing systems.
• Industrial distribution or related industry experience.
• Familiarity with Industrial Supply products, customers, or processes.

A successful Branch Supervisor keeps the Rocksprings branch safe, organized, accurate, productive, and customer‑focused.

Your team knows what's expected, inventory is well managed, orders are handled accurately, customers receive dependable service, and problems get resolved quickly.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on leadership position. Employees must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday; lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.; and safely load and unload customer orders with or without assistance.

The position also requires the ability to safely and legally operate a company delivery vehicle when needed.
