Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• 4 years’ public library experience; 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of assigned staff, projects, and/or work units.
• Interviews, selects, supervises, trains, and counsels direct report staff.
• Manages branch operations, inventory, budgets, and services in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Provides reader’s advisory, reference, and program development to patrons.
• Analyzes data and participates in strategic planning and goal setting.
