Job summary

GenServe in California is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee all branch operations, lead technicians and support staff, manage service delivery, and drive safety, reliability, and financial performance.

This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of field service workflows, budgeting, and customer relations. You will coordinate scheduling, pricing, and proposals with Sales, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field service operations or related technical service environments.
• 2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technicians, dispatchers, service writers, and administrative staff.
• Oversee staffing levels, onboarding, and performance.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatch, and work completion.
• Monitor technician productivity, job progress, and service quality.
• Manage branch budget, costs, revenue targets, and gross margin expectations.
• Ensure billing accuracy and coordinate with A/R on past-due accounts.
