Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Business Service Officer (BSO) to lead and develop a team of Support Professionals within the PWM branch. The role centers on executing strategic priorities, coaching for behavioral change, and ensuring policy compliance across the service organization.

Responsibilities include talent development, onboarding, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with Complex Sales and Risk teams to optimize client service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Industry experience in financial services.
• Licensing requirements per role (Series 7/8/66) or as needed by management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with coaching and adherence to firm policies.
• Supervise and mentor a team of Support Professionals and Service Professionals.
• Promote cross-training, learning, development and recognition within the Complex.
• Oversee interviewing, onboarding of new hires, including Financial Advisors and staff.
• Partner with HR on annual performance reviews, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Maintain relationships with Branch, Complex, Region and Home Office leaders.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching with staff and support advisor teams.
• Manage coverage for Financial Advisors and oversee staffing needs.
• Identify recognition opportunities and promote the firm’s core values.
