Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Business Service Officer (BSO) to supervise Support Professionals and manage service functions within the branch, partnering with Market Sales and Risk teams.

The role focuses on leadership, training, and adherence to Firm policies while driving service initiatives and collaborating with the Market Business Service Officer to achieve regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education.
• Active FINRA licenses: Series 7, 9, 10, and 66, or Series 63 and 65 as applicable.
• Other licenses as required for the role or by management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance.
• Supervise a team of Support and Service Professionals.
• Promote cross-training, learning and recognition within the market.
• Facilitate interviewing, selection and onboarding of new hires including Financial Advisors and their teams.
• Partner with MBSO and HR regarding all aspects of people management, including performance reviews and conflict resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with Branch, Market, Region and Home Office partners.
