Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Business Service Officer (BSO) to lead branch service teams, shaping client experience and aligning to firm policies. You will supervise Support Professionals, coach for performance, and collaborate with Market Sales, Risk and HR to deliver service initiatives across the branch network.

The role emphasizes people leadership, training, and process improvements to drive productivity and adherence to risk and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
Active Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and Series 10 (SU) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
Other licenses as required for the role or by management.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the Branch in executing the organization's strategic priorities, coaching for consistency, quality and compliance.
Lead, mentor and supervise a team of Support and Service Professionals.
Promote cross-training, learning, development and recognition of Service and Support Professionals.
Facilitate interviewing, selection and onboarding of new hires, including Financial Advisors and their staff.
Partner with MBSO and HR regarding all aspects of people management, including performance reviews and conflict resolution.
Maintain relationships with key partners within the Branch, Market, Region and Home Office.
